About G&B Urban Design

G&B started as a means of providing a more affordable option to designer furniture and home decor. With little more than a few tools, some creative ideas and a pile of old wood and rusty junk, we have transformed otherwise abandoned materials into beautiful, one of a kind works of functional art that becomes the center of the home. 

This small family run business has years of experience in reclaimed wood, live edge and solid wood furniture as well as fine kitchen cabinetry. We have evolved our style to include all building mediums including reclaimed, re-purposed and recycled materials as well as unique woods such as live edge and burl. 

All of our wood is sustainably sourced through the salvage of fallen trees, barns and other sources. We use old world techniques to bring new life into the materials that nature has provided us. We then build stunning furniture and finish it off with environmentally friendly, water-based stains and finishes.

​Our product line is growing to include modern industrial decor and abstract art pieces that incorporate wood, metal, glass, epoxy and just about any innovation you can think of for your home.

Most of our customers have an idea in mind of what they are looking for and commission us to design and build something unique to fit their taste but you can also join our mailing list to get in on pieces we have already built.
